Agri"culture" 22nd Century

Piotr Szpryngwald and Mirko Ihrig, in collaboration with experts and astronauts from NASA at Johnson Space Center in Houston has created a hydroponic pillow that can sustain a full plant growth.This would provide an alternative energy supply during space travels.

*Hydroponic culture is supposed to be the modern era for agriculture though its not wide spread.Researchers have proved that soil in itself is not essential to the growth of plants but the minerals it holds.The supply of mineral nutrients directly to the roots along with other specified conditions creates an efficient and versatile method of growing any kind of organic material, opening up the sustainability of human race in the outer space.
