Are you naked over the internet - have a checkup

Domain Name System(DNS) is the reason we are able to have user friendly website names. Its a service that converts names into IP addresses, facilitating computers to talk to each other. It was on 9th of July when the FBI pulled the plug on safety net which monitors the good DNS servers, making millions of internet users vulnerable to the DNS Changer malware that has already infected 3 million systems throughout the world.DNS Changer malware controls your DNS server system which would handicap the computer's ability to view the world wide web or redirect to spamming servers  or even open the gates for other infectious  malwares.

This malware changes the user's good DNS server to the criminals DNS server(rogue DNS server) there by monitoring each and every flow of information.Basically one is naked in the virtual world. The Computers infected by this malware is likely to be attacked by other malwares and removing all of them at a shot is not in an amateur's hand. Its better to give your system to a professional to secure your confidential information. The FBI is looking into this issue for another 40 days and have already disabled lots of rogue DNS server addresses. If you feel your system may have be compromised then have a checkup at this FBI Website (If you see a green back ground then you system is safe (for now) but if it shows red background then do have it cleaned)
